   Adela Popescu (born October 8, 1986)^{[citation needed]} is a Romanian actress and singer.

   Adela Popescu was born in the poor village of Susani; she was a normal girl but become famous when she gained a role in the first Romanian soap opera Numai Iubirea(Only Love). She had good acting skills so the producers decided to give her a role as she was young and could learn fast. She played alongside actor Dan Bordeianu with whom she started a relationship which lasted for 4 years. In 2010 she meet actor and TV presenter Radu Valcan and now they are happy together.

Andra

   Andra is a 1971 science fiction novel, the first novel by English writer Louise Lawrence. The book was set 2000 years from now, after the world was destroyed by war leaving the earth knocked off its rotation and the ground above to become a desolate frozen wasteland with everyone that survived living below the ground in underground cities.

   The main story revolves around Andra, a teenage girl who has a terrible accident and has to have a brain graft operation to survive. However, the only donor available was a young man that lived and died in 1987. After the operation her life is totally changed; she becomes a rebel, fighting against the rigid laws that rule society underground in Sub City One and the totalitarian authority that rules over life and death of any individual.

  The book was adapted into an Australian children's program in 1976 (8 x 30 minute episodes). Despite the television series, the book was not intended for child audiences. ABC Television retains some copies of each series - on film - in its archives.

   The Andra TV series is unique amongst such shows as to have been created on such as small budget that in the background, in crowd scenes, the 'crowd' is actually made up of store clothing dummies. The sets, instead of containing items of furniture, or other articles, are large white blocks piled up on each other.
